The Jewish approach to university needs to change. For the rest of the world, entering university is like entering a new community. You have a leadership structure, an overall culture, different neighbourhoods, etc. You quickly find your more comfortable spot but also interact with others in different neighbourhoods. It's more than just attending classes, it's living a life there. For Jews, on the other hand, the approach to university must be strictly utilitarian - you're there for the classes, the marks and the transcript. Buy the T-shirt or jacket if you want but just do your work, complete your requirements and go on with life.
